Itinerary

4. Explore Wānaka – 2 hours

Slow scenic drive into Wānaka. Visit the famous Wānaka Tree, lakeside viewpoints, and optional local attractions.
Free time for lunch at a waterfront café or restaurant of your choice.

5. Additional Wānaka Activities – 1 hour

Choose from light sightseeing stops or short local experiences such as shops, viewpoints, or lakeside areas. We adapt this part to your preferences on the day.

6. Return to Queenstown – 2 hours (incl. stops)

Relax on the drive back via the Crown Range or an alternative scenic route if preferred. We drop you at your chosen location in Queenstown.

1. Meet & Greet – 30 min

Pickup from your accommodation in Queenstown. A quick introduction, discuss the plan for the day, and grab a coffee if you wish before we hit the road.

2. Crown Range Scenic Drive – 1 hour

Travel the iconic Crown Range Road with stops at the best viewpoints. Time for photos, fresh alpine air, and optional detours depending on road and weather conditions.

3. Cardrona Valley & Village – 1 hour

Cruise through the historic Cardrona Valley. Depending on interest and access, we can visit the Cardrona Alpine Resort lookout or stop at iconic local attractions.

  • Queenstown & Wānaka Tour operates in all weather conditions. We provide umbrellas and rain poncho if weather deteriorates.

  • The minimum participants are 2, the maximum is 11 people in one vehicle.

  • For summer time we suggest: just your water bottle and a light jacket.

    For Winter time: your water bottle, a warm all weather jacket maybe waterproof, warm hat and warm gloves.
