Duration

From P/person $368* - $700*

Half day: ~11 hours

Deep in New Zealand’s remote Fiordland National Park lies Milford Sound — one of the most breathtaking and untouched fjords on Earth.

Here, sheer granite cliffs rise dramatically from mirror-calm waters, ancient rainforests cling to steep mountainsides, and powerful waterfalls cascade into the deep, silent fjord. Far removed from everyday life, this pristine wilderness offers a rare sense of solitude and awe.

Our full-day journey takes you comfortably from your starting point through the dramatic landscapes of Southland. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic drives beside Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables, peaceful stops in charming Te Anau, a short walk at the reflective Mirror Lakes, and passage through the historic Homer Tunnel. Upon arrival, you’ll experience the highlight: a scenic cruise gliding through the heart of Milford Sound, surrounded by towering peaks and pristine wilderness often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

The return brings relaxed stops and time to reflect on this unforgettable adventure, with your guide ensuring a safe and memorable day — even when the famously unpredictable Fiordland weather brings its surprises.
